CamelBak Water Bottle

Drinking ½ your body weight in ounces of water each day is no easy task. This bottle works great for me! I did not like the type with the straw because I felt awkward using it around other people. I definitely feel I drink my water much quicker with this bottle. I picked mine up at Target. There is more than one size – I went with the bigger one!

Padded Yoga MatyogaMat

I’m hoping to upgrade my exercise mat to this super cute pink padded mat. Now that I’m using the basement, the floor is concrete so I’m interested in extra padding for that reason. Plus, the reviews were great! This padded mat will provide support and cushioning for the spine, knees, hips and elbows on the hard floor.

dumbbellsLight Weights

Having light hand weights for exercises around the house is an easy way to work in some small movements now and then. These weights are nice to look at and can  be bought in various weights. Start with a low and medium and then go up from there! Here are a couple of targeted arm movements that use light weights – Get Fit in 5 Minutes: Rockstar Arms Workout.

Sweaty Bands

Screen Shot 2015-12-22 at 9.45.15 PMIt was always a mystery to me how people got those elastic hair bands to stay in place! I have spent a good amount of money trying to find one that works and doesn’t look like a tourniquet on my head:) My latest model comes from Sweaty Bands. I have a narrow one and a wide one and I really like them! They stay in place, even during cardio! Plus, they look awesome. Tons of fun colors, patterns and themes. Check them out!

Tanks

IMG_5176My workout attire is pretty basic. Lately, I have been scouting out tanks and have found a few fun ones at Target and Old Navy. I’m not overly particular, but honestly do not like to spend a lot of money. I tend to look in the fitness wear department, but also the junior department is a good place to check out too! I definitely try on anything I find in the juniors department because I’m no junior, that’s for sure!

There you go! Quick, easy and not anything that will break the bank. The last item that I already bought myself is the 3 Day Refresh. This quick, easy to follow meal plan with shakes will get me back on track after the holiday get togethers. We all indulge during the holidays! I will do my best not to overdo it with food and drink and I’ll start the refresh right away on 12/27 to get my system and shape on track for New Year’s Eve!
