Feeling strong!

Day 7

I love Survivor! Don’t get me wrong, I would NEVER survive – I’d probably vote myself off 😉 But, i am a survivor so far on this 21 day challenge!

Checking in at the end of the first week of my re-commitment to the 21 Day Fix Extreme. I can say that I feel stronger both in mind and body at the end of the week. It’s been busy and the 5ish morning wakeup is not always easy. Okay, it’s never easy! But, so worth it! Knocking out 30 minutes of targeted physical activity sets me up for my day in a way I never expected. I am more focused. I get more done. I feel ACCOMPLISHED by 7:00am!

As far as nutrition, I’m doing pretty well with sticking to the meal plan. In fact, the biggest issue is making sure I get all the food in. I stuck with some of my standby meals and also worked on a couple of new dishes.

I’m already planning shopping and meals for next week. GRATEFUL that I made it to the 1 day meat sale at the local market!!

BOGO free chicken, 1/2 price crabmeat amd shrimp!

This week I grabbed a pair of pants from the closet – back of the closet – and found that they fit better than they did even when I first bought them! My scale weight is down a bit, but the non-scale victory felt amazing!

Didn’t get to do any extra ab exercises this week, so not much progress there. Yet. At least I know that focusing on good nutrition means I’m not adding any ab padding with my food choices.

I’m surviving! In fact, I’m thriving! Best of all I’m helping others do the same and feel the same.
