Meal Planning Strategies

Meal planning – I always thought it was for “other people”.

You know, those moms. As it turns out, I am one of THOSE MOMS now. And, there’s something to meal planning – it’s not just about knowing what you’ll cook on any given day. It doesn’t have to mean it’s meatloaf on Tuesday and tacos on Tuesday. Although, tacos on Tuesday is just fine with me – and also tacos are fine on Monday, Wednesday… well, you get where I’m going with that. I love tacos!!

Meal planning can seem hard and overwhelming. Be sure to grab my FREE meal planning tip sheet to help you get started. Once I learned about meal planning and implemented a few key strategies, I was able to lose weight and maintain my weight. That was no easy feat, as I had spent more than 10 years trying to find a way to do that very thing. Who knew that meal planning was going to be THE THING that got me started? Tune in below for how I plan for a week. I start with ME. That may seem selfish, but I have goals. Do you have goals for yourself? My goals do not include eating pizza or unhealthy takeout just because my high metabolism 15 year old can eat those things.

In the video, I go over how I start with my dinners and explain why it’s okay to eat the same thing for lunch everyday. Just make sure you like it! Breakfast? Don’t skip it!
