25 New Habits for 2020

Here is a list of 25 new habits for you to take a look at and consider integrating into your life. Cementing a strong foundation of healthy habits will make reaching your big goals more manageable, by giving you the chance to focus in on a few areas. Pick three habits that you will work on consistently and give yourself a high five when you see one you already practice!

One habit I strongly recommend is taking the time to plan ahead for your meals and snacks. Start each week by finding a few recipes you know you’ll like and maybe a new one to try.   1. Drink 8 glasses of water each day
  2. Don’t take your phone to bed
  3. Write in a gratitude journal
  4. Give a compliment
  5. Pull your shoulders back
  6. Try one vegetable every week
  7. Try one new fruit every week
  8. Eat one vegetable with every meal
  9. Get up earlier
  10. Go to bed earlier
  11. Go for one walk per day
  12. Read something every morning/night
  13. Meditate/pray for 5 minutes per day
  14. Follow an exercise routine
  15. Take a group fitness class
  16.  Learn something new
  17. Say one positive thing about yourself every morning
  18. Practice positive affirmations
  19. Use canvas bags at the store instead of plastic
  20. Dress for confidence
  21. Set reminders and time limits for yourself
  22. Shave some time off your regular scrolling time
  23. Find sun to sit or walk-in
  24. Choose real foods instead of processed
  25. Listen to one inspirational/motivation podcast episode per day.

There you go! Pick a few habits to start doing today by writing them down in your planner or jotting them down on post it notes that you strategically place somewhere you’ll see them daily. Small habits will snowball and make the bigger goals easier to reach!
